I met Theo at a NYC party after he graduated from Oberlin where I had large murals at the time. Theo and I hung out in Shanghai in 2007 when I was teaching there and he was a regular on the jazz scene. has since become in internationally know jazz artist with 4 albums on Columbia Records. Theo swims in the great river of jazz tradition, he is wise beyond his years.
