in celebration of Professor Emeritus Martha Myers who was among a select group of visionaries who helped scatter the seeds of American dance. On this day we celebrated her life with movement circles led by Adrienne Hawkins and performances by Stuart Pimsler, Gloria McLean, Ara Fitzgerald, as well as David Dorfman and Lisa Race. I was in my pajamas when our neighbors Andy Alhassan and Rosaline Salifu called to say they had someone they wanted me to meet. Needless to say, I was underdressed when I walked down our small shared driveway to see 7 large SUVs parked and then entered to be introduced to the former and possible future President of Ghana, John Mahama (a charming and relaxed gentleman).
